Send the payer's data (name, surname and exact postal address) to info@letape.si. We will send you a pro forma invoice and after successful payment, you will receive a gift voucher by e-mail and regular mail with a unique code with which the recipient registers in the registration system at web portal Prijavim.se and choose a desired distance: Ride (80 km) or Race (150 km).

IMPORTANT! The application with a gift voucher with a unique code must be completed in the application system PRIJAVIM.SE by 24 August 2025 at the latest.

The price of the voucher is the same as the value of the entry fee on the day of the voucher bought. Prices and due dates are available at: https://slovenia.letapebytourdefrance.com/registration. The price is the same for Ride (shorter) and Race (longer) route.

The gift voucher recipient chooses the length of the route (Ride or Race) during the registration process, which must be completed no later than August 24, 2025 on the Prijavim.se application portal:

Co-order: registration and products from the L'Etape Slovenia 2025 collection

Along with the purchase of a gift voucher for the entry fee, the person paying the gift voucher can also purchase selected products from the L'Etape Slovenia cycling collection, but in this case the recipient must register in the procedure within the deadline that allows ordering products - most by 28. 2. 2025 or until stocks run out.

The official cycling jersey of L'Etape Slovenia 2025, by Ale, is available for only extra 22.99 EUR when ordering together durign registration process at Prijavim.se. But, available only limited time! The recipient must register no later than 30. 6. 2025, as later registration no longer allows co-ordering the jersey.

At the bottom of our website (https://slovenia.letapebytourdefrance.com) you will find a newsletter window on the left where you enter your e-mail address and thus ensure timely information about L'Etape Slovenia by Tour de France.

We recommend that everyone who registers for any cycling test within the framework of L'Etape Slovenia sign up for the e-newsletter and thereby ensure timely information and possible changes to the course of the tests due to security or other force majeure. You may unregister from e-newsletter at any time.

Saturday's cycling events

Registrations to Saturday's cycling events usually open in Maj or June. Follow us on social media and/or news on web, via e-newsletter.

All Saturday's cycling events are free of charge, but a prior registration is mandatory until all the bib numbers are taken. You may register by choosing the distance or event and follow the registration lint to fulfill all the needed information.

Sunday's Ride and Race - REGISTRATIONS 2025

The registration for the L'Etape Slovenia Ride or Race 2025 is possible only during open registraion period.

The price of a registration fee varies within the time of proceeding the registartion. All the prices within the specific registration period are published on the web site once the registrations open. Then simply select the distance within the corresponding time period and follow the link to register.

By clicking on the REGISTRATION button of the selected cycling event the link takes you to the PRIJAVIM.SE portal where the registration to L'Etape Slovenia event is made.

By registering to any of the event of the L'Etape Slovenia you accept and agree with the General Provisions of the L'Etape Slovenia, and the terms of the portal where your registraion is taking place.

Program of the L'Etape Slovenia by Tour de France event - NOT FINAL

Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 2 p.m. onwards

Saturday children's cycling trials and family cycling will take place on September 6, 2025, with the central venue at Slovenski trg in Kranj, scheduled to start at 2 p.m. These cycling events are of a non-competitive nature, and time is not measured. Due to the limited number of places, advance registration is mandatory.

Registrations for Saturday cycling are not yet open.

Sunday, September 7, 2025, start at 9.00 a.m.

Simultaneous start of the cycling Ride and Race is planned to be at 9:00 a.m. at Koroška cesta in Kranj, in the immediate vicinity of Kranj Gymnasium. The stage goes through the surrounding places of several municipalities: Škofja Loka, Šenčur, Vodice, Komenda, Medvode, Kamnik, Cerklje na Gorenjska, Preddvor, Radovljica, Naklo and Tržič and takes place on closed roads.

The cycling Ride and Race is intended for recreational road cyclists. E-bikes are not allowed.

Changing Route by Aug 24, 2025

You can change the route by writing to us to info@letape.si and giving us your name and surname and write down the desired change in the length of the route up to and including 24 August 2025. In this case, you will be able to pick up the starting number in the colour that reflects your registered length of the route. The starting numbers are in distinctive colour.

Changing the route on the event day

The route can also be changed on the day or during the competition, on September 7, 2025 , but in this case you will keep the original start number in the colour of the registered route.

In any case if finish line has been succesfully crossed you are listed among cyclists - finishers at the official results list. Also, if you're eligible to win any of the prizes (under your corrsponding age category) or official Tour de France jersey you will get it.

Yes, both routes, the longer route - Race (cca. 145 km) as also the shorter route - Ride (cca. 80 km), are competitive in terms of measuring time and the final ranking of all registered cyclists who will successfully cross the finish line in corresponding age/gender category and in absolute terms.

Also, on both routes cyclists has a chance to win original Tour de France distincitve jerseys (men and women):

• yellow, absolute winner
• green, sprint segment
• polka dot, KOM and QOM
• white, best young cyclist (under 25).

We recommend that even if time is measured on both routes, everyone rides within their limits of capacity and physical condition, and that they do not race or bother with the pace of faster cyclists. It is possible that one will not be able to follow faster cyclists, or this could cause individual problems at the cycling event, such as cramps, muscle aches, exhaustion. Do not push yourselves too hard since this can also resolve with not completing the route.

All cyclists who successfully cross the finish line of L'Etape Slovenia by Tour de France on Sundy's Ride or Race, will receive a commemorative medal in the image of the event in the finish arena.

Also, the best three in each category by age and gender get the gifts provided by partners of the event if the provide the gifts on time.

Participants on both routes on marked sections also compete for a yellow, green, polka dot and white jersey which will be awarded at the final award ceremony.

Cyclists have a maximum of 5 hours and 30 minutes to finish the short or the long route.

To enter the second lap or to continue the stage, the participants of the longer / Race route must achieve an avarage speed of 25km/h when crossing the start-finish area. If the avarage speed is below the limit then they will be dircted to cross the finish line by attendant. The cyclists is classified according to the time achieved in the overall classification and in the corresponding category among the participants of the shorter stage - The Ride.

10 or more cyclists

Companies, sports clubs and individuals united in a group with a minimum of ten (10) participants can benefit from a group registration. This means the simultaneous registration of at least ten individuals over a Ride or Race. Every individual is obligated to be registered with his/her personal e-mail address and mobile phone number.

Interested parties must write to info@letape.si and only after approval, a group registration can be proceeded. A group registration is not possible to be carried out at Prijavim.se without prior approval of the organizer.

Registration process should be completed during the open registration period. The prices per person is the same throughout the whole open registration period, additional items such as cylcling jersey could be simultantesly ordered togehter with the registration process but only witihn the period of availability. The additional items are not included within the registration fee, they are extra charged.

CANCELLATION AND REGISTRATION FEE REFUND

The deadline for registration withdrawal with the possibility of partial refund of the paid registration fee is 31 July 2024:

• By 31 May 2024, we will return the paid registration fee, reduced by the value of administrative and banking costs related to the transfer of funds.
• From 1 June to 31 July 2024, we will refund 50% of the paid registration fee, reduced by the value of administrative and banking costs related to the transfer of funds. 
• Reimbursement from 1 August 2024 is not possible even with a medical apology or certificate.

REGISTRATION TRANSFER TO THE EVENT IN 2024 WITH ADDITIONAL PAYMENT

For additional EUR 10.00 when registering for L'Etape Slovenia cycling event (80 km or 145 km), the additional payment enables the cancellation of the registration for L'Etape Slovenia 2024 and its transfer for participation in L'Etape Slovenia in 2025. All additional purchases (e.g. jersey) are transferred together with the registration.

The application can only be transferred once. A transfer of application cannot be transferred again under any circumstances. The participant must inform the organizer by e-mail at info@letape.si that he/she wishes to transfer the registration fee to 2025 no later than August 25, 2024.

POSSIBILITY OF TRANSFER WITHOUT ADDITIONAL PAYMENT WHEN REGISTERING

Successfully registered cyclists who did not choose the option to transfer to the next year also have the option of transferring their registration to the next year. For validating this type of transfer, the validator must pay an additional fee of EUR 20.00 up to and including August 20, 2024. The application can only be transferred once. A transferred application cannot be downloaded again under any circumstances. The applicant must notify the intention to transfer by August 20, 2024 to info@letape.si.

We will no longer honor transfer requests after this date. Transferring the application to another person is not possible. It is also not possible to pick up the start package for another participant without prior agreement with the organizer by e-mail at info@letape.si.

Map of both routes of L'Etape Slovenia by Tour the France 2025 are not available yet. The length is going to be approximately:

• shorter stage - the Ride, to 80 km
• longer stage - the Race, to 150 km.

Both routes will be communicated on time via official L'Etape Slovenia channels: web page, IG, FB; IN, Strava etc. Detailed information on all routes (also Saturdays) are published at web under section stages on time. We advice you to follow #letapeslovenia and/or subscribe to our e-newsletter.

TIMING Ljubljana is a partner of the event and the official timekeeper of the participants of the cycling events L'Etape Slovenia by Tour de France, in which times are measured. By picking up the start (bib) number, the participant also receives a corresponding timing chip, which must be correctly placed in the appropriate place.

L'Etape Slovenia cycling shorts can also be ordered at the same time as the registration fee to Sudnay's Ride or Race, but only until FEB 28, 2025 at the promotional price of EUR 69.99. Everyone who (will) order(s) shorts will be able to pick them up when picking up the start number (we will notify you of any prior pick-ups).

2025 cycling jersey

The upper part of the official cycling jersey of the L'Etape Slovenia 2024 event manufactured by Ale is not included in the registration fee.

It can be ordered at the same time as the registration fee for the Sunday's Ride / Race at a symbolic price of EUR 10.00 until June 30, 2024. During the registration process itself, you choose the option to buy a cycling jersey and choose the appropriate size. Before ordering, we advise you to measure yourself carefully and choose the size that suits you.

This year, it is also possible to order other cycling products of the official L'Etape Slovenia collection at promotional prices at the same time as registration, but only until a certain deadline or are available in limited quantities. The products available are:

• vest (Ale)
• cycling pants (Ale)
• cycling jersey - long sleeve (Ale)
• cycling glasses (Apres Outdoor).

If you have ordered also a cycling jersey or other products simultaneously with your registration to the Ride/Race you will get them together with your race bib pick-up. If there will be organized a prior bib pick-up we will inform about it via our communication channels.

The L'Etape Reward program rewards all participants of a cycling stage at any event within the L'Etape by Tour de France series. around the globe.

The Sunday's Ride and Race of L'Etape Slovenia are included in the award program. The absolute winners of the longer route - the Race of L'Etape Slovenia by Tour de France are automatically awarded with the registration fee to participation in the famous L'Etape du Tour. The awarded cyclists will be informed about the details by the agency A.S.O., the organizer of the event. With the registration fee are gifted:

• the best three women cyclists of the Race, and
• the best three men cyclists of hte Race.

All participants of Sunday's L'Etape Slovenia Ride and Race have the right to priority entry to L'Etape du Tour (stage race in France). They will be informed about the possibility of registration to the e-mail address they provided when registering for the L'Etape Slovenia trial in the fall (October/November).

The first stage test of the Tour de France (L'Étape du Tour) was carried out in 1993, when 1,705 recreational cyclists competed on a 190 km route through the Pyrenees. It soon outgrew the boundaries of France and became a unique global sports series that allows you to feel like a top cycling ace and experience the legend of the Tour de France.

From 2022, an event with a similar format and under the auspices of the Tour de France also takes place in Slovenia - L'Etape Slovenia.

The contemporary L'Etape du Tour hosts more than 14,000 riders from all over the world and due to its exclusivity, registration sells out quickly. Participants of the L'Etape Slovenia longer or shorter routes (Ride or Race) therefore receive a priority link in the autumn for the possibility of registering as part of the Reward program.

Anyone - amateur road cyclists above 18+ years old. But - due to its popularity the registrations slots are sold out in few days after registration opens in October for the edition in June of the succesive year.

Therefore.anyone who participated in a L'Etape Slovenia by Tour de France at Race or Ride gets in a year when registrations open for L'Etape du Tour gets to his/her e-mail address a special priority registration notice with a link for possibility to make a registration.
