A Scenic Sunday Route Through Gorenjska region

The Sunday L’Etape Slovenia challenge is designed for amateur road cyclists who want to experience the atmosphere of the Tour de France. We recommend that participants be in good physical shape, healthy, and of legal age. For a comfortable ride in the international peloton of cyclists of varying fitness levels, we advise you to log at least 3,000 km of cycling before the event. You’ll probably find yourself riding faster than usual — that’s the magic of drafting in a group!

The routes — Ride (approx. 80 km) and Race (approx. 130–150 km) — are always spectacular, offering stunning views and enthusiastic local support from residents, firefighters, and fans along the way. Don’t miss the atmosphere!

The 2026 Ride and Race routes will be announced later, but both will start and finish in Kranj.

Early Registration Offers the Best Price

The entry fee is the same for both the Ride and Race challenge of L’Etape Slovenia. Once again, both groups will start simultaneously, allowing you to switch routes on the day of the event. The entry fee varies depending on the registration period, and a limited number of starting slots is available in each phase, with total number of participants limitation to 1.600 due to safety reasons.

We encourage all cyclists to register early and secure yourself a bib number. Early registration is also the best motivation to train regularly and ensure a comfortable and legendary experience.

Registration Fees and Entry Periods

If all registration spots are filled before the deadline, the price for the following registration period will apply. The number of available spots in the selected period is the total number for both Ride and Race events (e.g. early registration: 360 spots for both distances).

• Pre-registration: €59.99 – exclusive for pre-registered and 2025 participants, valid until Nov 29, 2025.
• Early registration: €69.99 – 360 spots available, until Jan 31, 2026.
• Mid-season registration: €79.99 – 300 spots available, until Mar 31, 2026.
• Late registration: €99.99 – 240 spots available, until Jun 30, 2026.
• Last-minute registration: €119.99 – 180 spots available, until Aug 24, 2026.
