Pick-up of Race Numbers for the L'Etape Slovenia 2026 Cycling Challenges
Participants of the Sunday challenge can pick up their race numbers in advance; everyone else can do so at the venue as part of the festival programme, 5–6 September 2026
We are eagerly looking forward to the 5th edition of the Merkur zavarovalnica L'Etape Slovenia by Tour de France cycling festival. The festival will feature seven cycling challenges for all generations and fitness levels, and in every one of them participants must have a race number, which must be picked up no later than one hour before the start.
We are publishing information on when and where you can pick up your race number.
Early pick-up for Decathlon the Ride and Tosidos the Race
For participants of the Sunday challenge, an early pick-up will take place again this year at selected stores according to a precisely defined schedule and time frame at our two partners:
- Monday, 31 August 2026, 3:00 PM–8:00 PM, Ljubljana, Decathlon (BTC)
- Tuesday, 1 September 2026, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM, Kranj, Grašca (Naklo)
- Wednesday, 2 September 2026, 3:00 PM–8:00 PM, Maribor, Decathlon.
Pick-up is done in person, for which you must have a QR code (sent to your e-mail address) and a personal ID.
INFO point at the venue
The info point, where race numbers are also picked up, is located in the lobby of the Kranj Municipality building, Slovenski trg 1, entrance from the Brioni car park. Opening hours: Saturday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, and Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.
Race number pick-up at the venue
All participants of the Saturday cycling challenges pick up their race number at the info point on the day of the challenge, no later than one hour before the start:
- Merkur zavarovalnica Business Stage – pairs race
- Merkur zavarovalnica Business Stage – ISO Ride group ride
- Children's challenge – Future Heroes
- Family group ride
- K0.0lesarim na polno challenge (jersey = race number) race number
Participants of the Sunday Decathlon the Ride and Tosidos the Race challenges can also pick up their race number at the info point.
We recommend doing so by Saturday at the latest, and calmly take your place at the start on Sunday. Good luck!

For any cycling challenge, the race number must be picked up no later than one hour before the start of the challenge. Participation without race number is not allowed.
Rich supporting programme
In addition to the cycling challenges, numerous exhibitors will present their selected offerings, prize activities and entertainment for children at the central venue on Slovenski trg. At the venue you will also be able to see an exhibition on the history of the Tour de France, and a few steps away, on the street in front of the entrance to the Kranj City Library, the Gallery on the Spot exhibition, featuring highlights of L'Etape Slovenia 2025. Ambassador Matej Mohorič and Didi the devil will also be present at the venue.
