Sunday Challenge L'Etape Slovenia 2025 Rated 9.2
Participants of the Sunday challenge of L'Etape Slovenia 2025 rated the 4th edition of the event with an average score of 9.2.
We asked the participants of the Sunday long (130 km) and short (80 km) Merkur zavarovalnica L'Etape Slovenia by Tour de France challenge to share their opinions. The survey was available from September 24 to October 1, 2025 on the L'Etape Slovenia website, and 219 participants responded. A sincere thank you to everyone for your feedback, opinions, compliments, and suggestions for improvement. You have given us an excellent foundation for designing the 5th edition in 2026.

We’re grateful for your trust!
... and you know that legendary enjoyment lies in good preparation

As many as 85% of respondents followed our recommendation to ride at least 3,000 km before the L'Etape Slovenia challenge.
The route and race goals
The varied and scenic route suits you well (66%), with 40% preferring a distance between 76–100 km, 29% favoring 101–130 km, and nearly 25% wishing for a 131–150 km route.

Environmental care and sustainability
59% of participants read the L'Etape Slovenia Green Guidelines before the event.
Almost 53% arrived by carpooling (with companions or teammates), and 16% even cycled to the start, warming up on the way. Since Slovenia’s water quality is excellent, we encourage riders to use their own bottles, and 74% already do so.
