Ever since Tadej Pogačar and Jonas Vingegaard took control of world cycling, thrilling fans and dominating the Tour de France, we amateur cyclists—who are almost as elite as they are—have felt the excitement. Now, we’re bringing this competitive spirit to the L'Etape by Tour de France series! Join the STRAVA Battle which is taking place from March 3 to April 6, 2025.
L'Etape Slovenia vs. L'Etape Denmark
In collaboration with L'Etape Denmark, we’re launching the ultimate showdown: a five-week-long STRAVA Battle challenge, running from March 3 to April 6, 2025. At the end of the battle, we’ll hold a prize draw.
Who will come out on top – Slovenia or Denmark
The battle begins on Monday, March 3, 2025! We’ve prepared five weekly challenges, each running from Monday to Sunday. The battle takes place on STRAVA between members of our club, Merkur zavarovalnica L'Etape Slovenia, and members of L'Etape Denmark.

Weekly Challenges between club members
Consistent training counts! To keep you motivated, we’ve created five weekly challenges. Every activity contributes to the overall team score in the STRAVA Battle prize challenge.ž
- Challenge 1: March 3–9, 2025: Total number of rides (Top 100 weekly leaderboard cyclists)
- Challenge 2: March 10–16, 2025: Total distance in km (Top 100 weekly leaderboard cyclists)
- Challenge 3: March 17–23, 2025: Total elevation gain in m (Top 100 weekly leaderboard cyclists)
- Challenge 4: March 24–30, 2025: Total distance of the longest rides in km (Top 100 weekly leaderboard cyclists)
- Challenge 5: March 31–April 6, 2025: Percentage increase in club members.

Who Will Make the Weekly Top 100 leaderboard?
Each club’s weekly result will be based on the top 100 leaderboard cyclists. So, the more kilometers you ride, the higher your ranking!

How to Participate in the STRAVA Battle Challenge?
To participate in the prize challenge and be included in the draw, you must:
- Be a member of the STRAVA club either 🇸🇮 Merkur zavarovalnica L'Etape Slovenia and/or 🇩🇰 L'Etape Denmark.
- Complete at least one cycling activity in length of at least 30km during the battle period (March 3–April 6, 2025) to contribute to your club’s result.
- Fill out the STRAVA Battle application form no later than April 7, 2025.
- Read and agree to the competition’s terms and conditions.
