Zlato polje is a brand with a long tradition, built on grains, quality and know-how. Its roots go back to 1970, when the first instant polenta came onto the market in the former Yugoslavia, while the tradition of pasta production in Slovenia goes back all the way to 1925.
Over more than half a century, Zlato polje has grown together with its consumers. Today it offers a wide range of grain-based foods — from pasta, rice and polenta to semolina and groats, as well as frozen food — combining quality ingredients, proven know-how and ease of preparation.
100 years of pasta tradition
n 2025, Zlato polje pasta celebrated 100 years of production in Slovenia. Its story began in 1925 with the Pekatete brand, the first true Slovenian pasta brand, and over the decades this tradition, know-how and technology have developed into today's Zlato polje range.
Today, Zlato polje pasta is made from durum wheat semolina and water, combining modern technology with experience that has been passed down through generations in Slovenia.
A hundred years of tradition is proof that a good foundation never goes out of fashion.
