Exclusive Challenge for 100 Participants

Only 100 cyclists will have the chance to take part in the second edition of this thrilling challenge—racing up the iconic Jelenov klanec, a 500-meter climb. We're calling on the boldest and most determined riders to try and beat the time of our ambassador, Matej Mohorič.

Participants will be divided into men’s and women’s categories, all in a single age group—forever young, of course.

Free registration is open until all 100 spots are filled.

Jelenov klanec with a New Record and a Super Final

Riders will start individually at 30-second intervals. Timing will only be recorded during the uphill section—a 500-meter climb with 29 meters of elevation gain.

Safety is our top priority, which is why riders start individually and are only timed on the uphill. The descent should be slow and controlled.

Super Final – Shoulder to Shoulder Showdown

This year’s new feature: a Super Final for the top 5 men and top 5 women based on time. All 5 riders will start at the same time and go head-to-head in a shoulder-to-shoulder race. Only the uphill time will count here as well.

All 100 challengers of K0.0lesari na polno! will receive a custom event cycling jersey by Alé as part of their free registration. The jersey also serves as your race number and must be worn to participate. You’ll pick up your jersey (with timing chip) on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Kranj City Hall lobby, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Please choose your jersey size carefully during registration, as no exchanges or changes will be possible later.

If the jersey is not picked up by 5:00 PM, it will be given to a participant on the waiting list.

Who Can Participate in the Challenge?

The challenge is open to all adults (18+) as of September 6, 2025, at 00:00:01 who are not professional cyclists. Participation is at your own risk. Each rider is responsible for the technical condition of their own bike. Helmets are mandatory. E-bikes are not allowed – the challenge is primarily intended for road bikes.

Sportsmanship and Safety

We encourage all participants of L’Étape Slovenia events to prioritize safety, follow traffic laws, and respect organizers, police, marshals, security staff, and other road users. Sport is our joy – let’s be fair, respectful, and supportive of each other.

K0.0lesarim na polno! 2025 challenge application form

Free registration and a cycling jersey, manufactured by Ale, are provided by Union Radler, the event partner. The number of places is limited to 100. Those registered from 101 to 120 places after the registration time will be placed on the waiting list and have the option to participate in the event of cancellation and failure to collect the jersey by 5 p.m. on the day of the event by the first 100 registered participants.
