Start List and Information for Participants of the Kolesari na polno Challenge
Who will beat Matej Mohorič? The start list of 100 challengers is ready – this year, for the first time, featuring a Super Final!
The 2nd edition of the boutique challenge K0.0lesari na polno, organized together with our partner Union 0.0 Radler Isotonic, introduces a new feature: a Super Final for both women’s and men’s categories. 100 daring cyclists will face the climb up Jelenov klanec, aiming to beat the time of our ambassador and top professional rider, Matej Mohorič, who will start last. The challenge takes place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, starting at 18.20 PM.
Individual Start – 100 Challengers
- Starts at 18:20, each rider leaving at 30-second intervals
- Runs until 19:10, when Matej Mohorič will start as the final challenger
- Riders are listed alphabetically by first name (regardless of gender)
- Final results will be published separately in two absolute categories: Women and Men

Important: Punctuality at the start is crucial. Late arrivals cannot start outside the designated time slot.
Start Jersey = Your Bib Number
- Each participant receives an official start jersey and timing chip
- Collection: Saturday, Sept 6, 2025, from 13:30 to 17:30, at the lobby of the Municipality of Kranj (entrance from Brioni parking)
- Personal pick-up only, with valid ID
- Jerseys will not be sent by post – they are exclusively for participants of the challenge
- Riders must wear the official Union-themed event jersey during the challenge – participation without it is not allowed
NEW: The Super Final – 19:30
- After the individual time trials, two Super Finals will take place:
- Women’s Super Final: Top 5 female riders start together
- Men’s Super Final: Top 5 male riders start together, 5 minutes later
Only the marked uphill segment counts for results (Matej Mohorič’s time is not included)
Awards Ceremony
After the Super Finals, the awards ceremony will take place on stage at Slovenski trg, followed by a group photo of all challengers – together with Matej Mohorič.
Tips for Your Best Performance & Unforgettable Experience
Warm up properly before the start to reduce the risk of injury
- Be aware of your own abilities and condition on race day
- The course will be closed to traffic during the event, but warming up on Jelenov klanec will not be allowed after 18:00 for safety reasons
- Stay hydrated and prepare adequate nutrition
- Respect your body, and take care of your own safety and that of others.
Key Competition Rules
- Only road bikes are allowed – no e-bikes or other assistance.
- Helmet use is mandatory.
- Check your start time and arrive on time – late arrivals lose their right to start.
- The start is on Koroška cesta (in front of Hotel Creina). After a short flat, a descent down Jelenov klanec follows. The descent is not timed – ride slowly and with caution.
- After the descent, before the roundabout, turn around and begin the climb. Timing starts when you cross the marked timing mat.
- The finish line is at the top of the climb, clearly marked.
- Only the climb time counts towards the final classification.
