L'Etape Slovenia 2025 cycling events results
Results of the premiere Merkur zavarovalnica business team ride, boutique challenge K0.0lesarim na polno! and Sunday's 80 km and 130 km races. Congratulations to everyone!
Saturday's varied program offered numerous cycling challenges in the Tour de France spirit for all generations and regardless of the level of readiness and type of bike. From the youngest, who raced on balance bikes - probably on their first means of transportation, to participants on e-bikes. Sunday's 80 km Ride and 130 km Race will give road cyclists the opportunity to experience a race in the grand style – the Tour de France for the 4th time.
Premiere of the Merkur zavarovalnica business ride
One of the key novelties of this year’s L’Etape Slovenia edition is certainly the Merkur zavarovalnica business ride presented by Radio Aktual, which offered two new challenges on the same route, but with a 5-minute start delay:
- a business team ride – team of two with time measurement, and
- a group ride without timing – just pleasure and pure cycling joy on the closed roads.
Winners of the business stage
On a 34 km long route with a 333 meters elevation gain we got the first winning pairs:
- women's team: Municipality of Kranj 4: Nika Rovšek and Polona Omejc, time 1:17:55
- mixed teamr: Grašca Team 4: Laura Šimenc Kramar in Robert Kranjec, time 0:50:12
- men's team: Blan Team: Blaž Oblak and Andrej Umnik, time 0:50:50.

K0.0lesarim na polno! (at full spead) - Jelenov hill challenge
The 2nd edition of the boutique challenge, which we are organizing in cooperation with our partner Union 0.0 Radler Isotonic and our ambassador Matej Mohorič, has experienced two key novelties this year:
- we limited the number of challengers to 100 (last year 150)
- we introduced a super final: the 5 best by time in the women's and men's categories competed shoulder to shoulder again.
And who are this year's winners?
The fastest time after the individual start was achieved by Nika Bratovic (00:52.5) and Primož Kaučič (00:39:00) In the super final we got the queen of the Jelenov's Hill, which is Tina KLinar: and the King Domen Bivic.

On Sunday we encouraged 1,400 legends
If Saturday was marked by socializing of all generations, connecting and making new acquaintances and friendships, Sunday brought together more than 1,400 cyclists in the L'Etape Slovenia caravan. An international caravan, as the cyclists came from as many as 30 different countries, but together they represented a common mission: the passion for pedaling. The longer route ran through the regions of as many as 10 Gorenjska municipalities: Kranj, Škofja Loka, Medvode, Vodice, Komenda, Kamnik, Cerklje na Gorenjskem, Šenčur, Preddvor, Železniki.

The fastest female cyclists at 130 km – all from Slovenia:
- Laura Šimenc Kramar, with a time of 3:23:37.5 (yellow jersey)
- Vesna ALEGRO BAZNIK, with a time of 3:27:32.47
- Maja Mencigar, with a time of 3:32:23.0.
